Partnership will combine youth climate action with Art for Planet, eco-tourism and agriculture tokenization, future carbon projects and renewable energy initiatives.
United Kingdom, 15th Sep 2026 — EarthByt Ltd, a sustainability technology company developing platforms that connect environmental projects, communities and global capital, has expanded its partnership with Waka Natures Uganda to become a sponsor of the climate initiative at Uganda’s 3rd Annual Peace Festival hosted by the Positive Peace Generation Organization.

The festival will take place 18–19 September 2026 at Kigezi College Butobere in Kabale under the theme “Inspire. Innovate. Adopt. Impact.” It is expected to bring together approximately 3,000 young people from 20 partner schools for two days focused on peace, sustainability, leadership and youth-led innovation.
As climate initiative sponsor, EarthByt will support a broader environmental program built around tree planting, waste management, circular resource use and practical climate education.

The 2026 festival plan targets 7,000 trees as part of its climate-action program. The detailed budget includes fruit-tree seedlings, planting tools and equipment, transportation, nursery supplies and post-festival planting activities. Fruit species identified include mango, avocado, guava and orange.
The festival’s environmental program also includes practical waste-management demonstrations, with planned waste-sorting stations, recycling demonstrations, environmental facilitators and community clean-up equipment.
From Waste to Clean Energy
A central element of the wider partnership will be Waka Natures’ developing Waste-to-Energy Climate System, a circular model designed to rethink waste as a productive resource.
The model connects community waste collection with biogas for cleaner cooking, while returning bio-slurry and other organic by-products to the soil as fertilizer. By providing an alternative clean-energy source for cooking, the system is also intended to reduce pressure on trees traditionally harvested for fuel.

The circular approach connects:
waste recovery → clean energy → reduced tree cutting → community benefit → organic fertilizer → tree planting and restoration.
Dr. Rogers Walakira, Director of Waka Natures, said:
“True climate action requires us to rethink waste as a resource rather than a problem. Through the Waka Waste-to-Energy Climate System, we are creating a circular model that transforms organic waste into clean energy, organic fertilizer, and environmental benefits for communities. By combining renewable energy, waste management, and ecosystem restoration, we can reduce emissions while improving livelihoods and building climate resilience for future generations.”
EarthByt sees the Peace Festival as the first major public activation of a much longer relationship with Waka Natures.
“Supporting the climate initiative as a whole better reflects what we want this partnership to become,” said Dan Bramley, EarthByt CEO/Founder. “The 7,000 trees are important, but the larger opportunity is to connect restoration, waste-to-energy, education, conservation and sustainable economic development. We want to support projects that create environmental impact while also building lasting value for communities.”
The Peace Festival has grown rapidly, with organizers reporting that its first two editions directly supported more than 8,000 young people. The 2026 program will combine climate action with peace-building, leadership, technology, health, waste management and hands-on community engagement.

Art for Planet: Taking Uganda’s Environmental Story Global
Following the festival, EarthByt and Waka Natures plan to develop a Uganda-focused series within EarthByt’s Art for Planet initiative.
Art for Planet is being developed to use original artwork, digital collectibles and storytelling to raise awareness and funding for real-world environmental projects.
Future collaborations are expected to draw inspiration from Uganda’s wildlife, landscapes and communities while helping direct international attention toward conservation, restoration and climate-action programs on the ground.
“Art can connect people to places and causes beyond their borders,” said Felipe Pardo, EarthByt LATAM Director. “We want that connection to inspire real participation in conservation.”
Tokenizing Eco-Tourism and Sustainable Agriculture
The partnership will also explore how EarthByt’s forthcoming EarthShares real-world asset tokenization platform could support suitable Ugandan eco-tourism, safari, agriculture and agroforestry ventures.
Potential opportunities may include eco-lodges, community tourism infrastructure, safari-related ventures, sustainable agriculture and other revenue-producing projects that combine economic development with environmental stewardship.
Where appropriate, qualifying opportunities could utilize EarthShares infrastructure for compliant digital investment, investor onboarding, KYC/AML, permissioned ownership, project documentation and monitoring.
Developing Carbon and Environmental Projects
EarthByt and Waka Natures will also evaluate opportunities to develop credible carbon-credit and other nature-based environmental projects connected with tree planting, restoration, agroforestry and waste-to-energy activities.
Any future carbon credits would be subject to applicable methodologies, measurement, monitoring, validation and independent verification before being represented as verified environmental assets.
EBYT Community-Directed Charitable Support
Waka Natures will additionally be eligible for consideration as a candidate for charitable allocations associated with the EBYT token ecosystem.
Eligible organizations can be presented to EBYT holders, with holders participating in selecting beneficiaries through EarthByt’s voting dApp.
A Partnership Designed to Grow
Together, EarthByt and Waka Natures intend to create a partnership that connects immediate climate action with longer-term environmental finance and sustainable enterprise.
The 3rd Annual Peace Festival provides the first major milestone: thousands of young people, thousands of fruit trees, practical waste-management education and a circular vision for transforming waste into useful resources.
From there, the partnership is intended to expand into Art for Planet, sustainable agriculture, responsible eco-tourism, carbon projects, tokenization and community-directed environmental funding.
The objective is simple: combine technology and international participation with projects capable of creating measurable environmental impact and sustainable economic opportunity on the ground.
